MasterCraft MariStar 245: Class Room

No other boat in the 23 to 25-foot class offers as much as just that: class. With billet aluminum designs surrounding white-faced MariStar gauges, the 245 is as thrilling to admire as it is to drive. From stem to stern, you're treated to such niceties as deep wood grain trim, custom billet vents, spun aluminum drink holders and 40-ounce marine carpet that will make you feel like you ended up in your living room - only this one floats. Infused with up to 450 horses of throttle-busting Vortec power, the 245 gets up, gets out and gets going where I/Os tend to plod along. With enough seating space (up to 16) and storage capacity (156 cubic feet) to support every watersports or cruising adventure, the MariStar 245 is prime space for a class reunion. The MariStar 245 incorporates some of the same design features that earned the MariStar 280 VLD Boat of the Year and the X-Star Wakeboard Boat of the Year. MasterCraft continues to offer more bow space with an oversized catamaran inspired bow that increases seating and storage capacity while maintaining a deep vee entry. The 245 also has MasterCraft's X-Pod inspired modular dash display, an oversized removable swim platform, an oversized helm seat, JL Audio speakers, and the largest wrap-around interior in its class. While these features continue to set MasterCraft apart from the competition, the company believes the 245 will make its own mark, eliciting a strong emotional response from prospective new boat owners, especially in the untapped I/O industry.

"The 245 has a lot of contemporary American design influences with an industrial edge," says Peter Granata, Granata Designs. "All the shapes and materials we used in the 245 from the glove box to the transom evoke strength, substance, and quality. All of these elements work together to reflect the values of the MasterCraft customer. I think it rivals everything on the market and creates an awe-inspiring emotional attachment."

Some of the MariStar 245 VRS's most unique features include a diamond shaped transom, walk-thru sun pad, scooped billet aluminum vent covers, billet cockpit appointments, aircraft style top lit switches and an oversized urethane glove box.

The 245's hull is 24' long, 8' wide, and has more deadrise at the bow and stern than any other boat in the MasterCraft product line - giving it more big water capability, including intracoastal waterways.

So don't be the guy falling asleep in the back of the classroom; take your cues from the MariStar 245 --- a model boat that is showing others what life on the water is really about. Class.
