In Paris last week Chairman of MasterCraft Europe, Ian Birdsall and
President of the IWSF, Kuno Ritschard signed a five year exclusive
partnership agreement to provide towboats and other support for the
Wakeboard World Cup commencing 2004.
"The World Cup is probably the most significant
step forward this decade in providing world wide exposure for not
only the sports of WaterSkiing and Wakeboarding but also its athletes"
"With a cash prize purse of up to $100,000
per stop and global media coverage of the events public interest
is bound to be high and we can expect to see some of the best performances
ever behind the world famous X-Star and Record setting ProStar 190"
