Never too young...

If you are even thinking it, the answer is NO - You are never too young to start wakeboarding 'OR' competing.

Take young Layla Eyre for example, just 12 years old and already competing in the MasterCraft Euro Wakeboard Pro Tour! Yeah the competition is stiff, but if you are like Layla, rather than being put off by the pro riders you are riding with, you could hold your head up high and join in with them .... after all they have been around a while and you could learn a whole lot from them.

Layla fell in love with wakeboarding in 2001 and has been hooked ever since, she takes every opportunity to get out on the water wherever that water may be, sometimes down at her local lake, or persuading mum and dad, Tony and Sue, to travel all over the country to enter her in competition.

The Pro Tour Team met Layla for the first time during the first stop of the this years tour down at The Qyays, and what a darling she is, and how refreshing to see young talented enthusiasm coming through.

Layla is definitley a girl to keep an eye on, as well as her zest for the sport she is certainly giving it her all and is a pretty sure bet at ending up on the top podium spot in the future.

Well Done Layla !
