The 2003 MasterCraft
European Wakeboard Pro Tour

We have now been able to announce two major European Wakeboard events confirmed for this summer, working hard to secure the sites and sponsorship has paid off and we will be kicking off the tour at the Quays in London on the 1st August. Stuart Mackie and his team at the Quays are an integral part of the Worldwide Wakeboarding scene, their enthusiasm and dedication to the sport has in no small part assisted in its growth and development whilst the turning out some of Europe's most feared riders.

The Quays is a dedicated Wakeboarders holy grail and you can be sure the site and organisation will be first rate, the prize fund is $10,000, with a first place for the men's division of $3,000and the ladies top purse of $1,500, this will be the biggest Wakeboard event in the UK this year with more top riders fighting for the honour and cash that goes to the winners.

The Second event in the MasterCraft European Wakeboard Pro Tour sets yet another "First". We are running the event alongside the first ever European Wakeskate Championships. The site is that of the World Wakeboard Championships in the sunny south of France at La Grande Motte, big crowds are guaranteed at this vacation destination and once again the prize money is BIG.

The event itself will be run over four days with the Wakeboarders first taking to the water for practice sessions on Thursday the 21st August. The Wakeboard event itself will commence at 14:00 each day from Friday through to Sunday, this time of day encourages more spectators to be present and gives added media benefits whilst allowing the riders a little more "preparation" time.

These events are sure to be the most competitive in the Wakeboard calendar for 2003 with last years top placed riders competing to protect their positions against an ever increasing number of contenders. Don't miss your opportunity as rider spectator or supporter to be part of this seasons biggest Wakeboard action.

Now that the new tour website is live, please check back with us for regular updates.

I look forward to seeing you all again in the summer
